Key Signs You've Found the Perfect Home (And Should Write an Offer ASAP!)
Finding your dream house feels a lot like falling in love.
And if you’re anything like my other clients who’ve successfully found their perfect home, you’ll probably feel most (probably all) of the things below.
Here are key signs you’ve found “the one” (and should write an offer ASAP!)
You don’t want to leave the property. This is the biggest one. You feel at home there and you’re physically pulled to linger in the house.
You’d be really upset if someone else bought it. Your competitive side kicks in and you’re willing to do whatever it takes to get the house.
You get a little obsessed over certain features and keep saying how much you love x, y, and z over and over.
You genuinely feel excited and positive when thinking about this home.
You start rationalizing the things that would have previously been downsides as “Not that bad” or “I can learn to live with that.”
If you’re feeling this way when you’re touring a home, chances are, it’s time to write an offer!
P.S. Sellers, this is also why it pays to have great staging. When a buyer lingers, they usually sit down and start going over strategy. A comfortable, inviting space is key for this.
